We offer superbly appointed meeting rooms holding up to a maximum of 20 delegates, with plenty of natural light and superb views over the world heritage site aqueduct. Glyn Wylfa in Chirk is a historic building that has been thoughtfully renovated into a vibrant community hub. While detailed architectural floor plans are not publicly available, the building’s layout and usage have been well documented.

Historical Significance

Originally constructed in 1899 as a private residence, Glyn Wylfa had fallen into disrepair before its transformation. In 2013, it was revitalized as a social enterprise, serving the community and visitors alike.

Caffi Wylfa

This 80-seater café, complemented by an outdoor gazebo seating area, serves as a central gathering spot for both locals and tourists. It operates seven days a week, offering light lunches and beverages.

Office Spaces

The main building houses 11 modern office units, accommodating various local businesses. These offices collectively support approximately 30 jobs, contributing to the local economy.

Educational Facilities

Organizations like Positive Leap utilize two bright and spacious classrooms within Glyn Wylfa, providing educational services in a conducive learning environment.

A converted outbuilding on the premises serves as the local police station, enhancing community safety and accessibility.
